Get to know the author

Pam Harrison was raised on a farm/ranch outside of Tompkins, Saskatchewan.  She has been an educator for 29 years in elementary schools in the County of Newell and Brooks, Alberta.  She taught kindergarten for 18 amazing years!  Pam realized during her time teaching kindergarten that it was important for children to have strong foundational literacy skills; the skills that would help them to continue to develop reading, writing and confidence through their school years.  This led her to write an alphabet series that would support children learning alphabet letters and sounds in a creative and engaging way.
